They deserve a wave too.

They deserve a wave too.

Thank you so much!

The park is full of them. If you've ever been to Aquarama, you've surely seen them. Some are taller than others. Some have dark hair and others blond. Almost all of them have dark skin. We'll leave you Three short stories of people who help us every day to have an unforgettable day.

Jaime.

I'm 22 years old and I've been working at Aquarama for three summers. If someone asked me exactly what I do at my job, I'd say that I make sure people go down the slides properly., ...that they don't carry metal objects, that they don't hurt themselves, and obviously that they don't drown. I'm usually a pretty nice and friendly guy, and I even try to be a colleague with clients. The key is to have the best possible relationship with them to avoid any misunderstandings. I really enjoy being part of a community and looking out for others; in fact, I often play with the children, and I usually become friends with many of them at Pirate's Cove, which makes my day-to-day life much more enjoyable. Sometimes I run into very young children in the park who have been to Aquarama before, and they always remember you when they return: "I had such a great time with you last time! Tell me what ride you're on now, and I'll come bother you for a while." I love those conversations with the little ones.

Silvia.

I've worked at the park for five years. I usually start my day by arriving a little early so I can have breakfast with my colleagues. I believe my role here is prevention, rather than simply providing assistance, and the best way to achieve that is by being friendly to customers. I always say that I am the I am responsible for the attraction I am in, and therefore everything that happens in it at that moment is my responsibility.. I really like the Lakes Pool because there are lots of children. I always play with them, splashing them with water, tossing them around on a float... The strangest thing that's happened to me, and it happens all the time, is that having a tattoo of The Deathly Hallows, When I see children from Harry Potter, they stare at me and say, "You're a Harry Potter fan, you're a Harry Potter fan!"“. I want people to enjoy my work, and I also feel good doing what I do., That's why I've been here so many years; I love my job. In fact, I'd describe it as "gratitude.".

Ruben.

I've been working at Aquarama for four years. I'd say my job is... to rescue people, to prevent them from drowning, ...that they get hurt and to make sure everything is in accordance with the regulations. Sometimes a child wants to go on a ride, but since they're not tall enough, I can't let them. I usually laugh the most with the little ones: at the Mini Dunes or Pirate Cove. We always have the typical good kids who behave very well, and then there's always the typical troublemaker who doesn't listen to anyone. “Fun” is the word that would define my work, Without a doubt. Working on the beach is a different ballgame, but doing it here is much nicer and more fun.

I'm sure you've already guessed who we were talking about, right? These are some of the stories of three of our lifeguards, Those who, besides coming to Aquarama to work, take home countless anecdotes from their interactions with customers. Anecdotes that grow summer after summer.

Because they too deserve a wave!
