Aquarama reaffirms its commitment to the marine world alongside the NGO Xaloc

With the aim of creating a place where humans live in balance with the environment, Aquarama and the NGO Xaloc have signed an agreement to contribute to the advancement of sustainability. While our park may be only for humans, we also want to contribute to the well-being and conservation of the marine environment.

Together with Xaloc, we want to carry out initiatives focused on the fight against ‘Microplastics’, small fragments of plastic that are abundant in the ocean, and thus ensure that it is not necessary to collect tons of plastic from the sea and beaches.

The relationship between humans and the marine world is the solution for caring for the aquatic environment because, as Carles Gago, founding partner of Xaloc, has commented, the only way to remove microplastics is manually.

Furthermore, this relationship between the two is very close, as all plastic in the ocean returns to us when we consume food that comes from it. The journey is very simple, the sea returns everything we discard to us.

At Aquarama, we've always committed to sustainability and environmental conservation. We want to continue contributing to reducing the impact of our activities and involve the thousands of people who visit us each year in the conservation of the marine world.

Every person has the ability to contribute to commitment to environmental care. That is why, at Aquarama, we have strengthened recycling systems in the park and joined the campaign launched in Benicàssim to preserve Mediterranean water from the rubbish generated by human activity on the beach.
