1. Island of adventure (Orlando). This park consists of a total of 8 themed islands, all related to adventure. 2. Aquaventure (Dubai). It's one of the most famous water parks in the world; it even won the Travelers' Choice Attractions award in 2014 and 2015. Among its biggest attractions are its water slides, as the park boasts some of the fastest and tallest in the world. In addition to the attractions and services found within the park, Aquaventura features a 700-meter private beach.
3. Tropical Island Resort (Germany). As its name suggests, entering this water park is practically like stepping onto a tropical island. Its defining feature is its unique atmosphere; the Tropical Island Resort recreates a tropical world, complete with a beach and even a rainforest. It also boasts the world's largest indoor swimming pool.
4. Suoi Tien (Vietnam). A water park that recreates the history of Vietnam and Vietnamese Buddhism. The park's purpose is to simulate what is known as Buddhist heaven through a wide variety of attractions and shows. The park's main attraction lies in the unique shapes and decorations that adorn each attraction, transforming it into an authentic Buddhist temple.

5. Shima Spain Park (Japan). In Japan we find this corner Dedicated to Spanish culture, history, and tradition, Shima Spain recreates the essence of Spain through its attractions, shows, and even its culinary offerings. For example, the Pyrenees transformed into a roller coaster, themed attractions based on La Tomatina, Don Quixote, or a Wine and Beer Journey through Europe; and water attractions like Montserrat.

7. Cedar Point (Ohio). Top Thrill Dragster, the second tallest roller coaster in the world, is located in this American theme park, which boasts 16 other roller coasters. In addition to holding the record for the most diverse roller coasters, Cedar Point also features a beach, two water parks, and even a marina.

8. Hacienda Nápoles (Colombia). Somewhere between an animal theme park and an amusement park, this is the infamous property of Pablo Escobar, which, after the cartel's demise, was transformed into a theme park. Spanning 3,000 hectares, it combines a zoo with rides and attractions.
9. The Dead Sea from China. This is the name given to the wave pool in Daying County, China, located within a water park. It's likely the pool that has featured in some of the most viral social media images, showing thousands of people (up to 10,000 have been recorded at once) trying to surf the waves, which have become a blanket of tiny heads. Just looking at the pictures makes you want to imagine yourself in this saltwater pool.
